Meet Jemmy Jagesur, a trailblazing force in the financial industry as the owner of Lib 8 Consult, a black female-owned company that is Level 1 BBBEE compliant.
With a focus on Estate and Trust Administration, Jemmy is a Certified Financial Planner whose journey began in 1998. Despite starting as a tied adviser for a major corporation, Jemmy felt stifled by the corporate environment, where academic qualifications and passion seemed undervalued. Determined to break free from these constraints, Jemmy founded Lib 8 Consult in 2019. She is supported by Nivi Jagesur, a seasoned financial advisor since 1987.
Lib 8 Consult, where “Lib 8” stands for Liberate, was born out of a shared vision to prioritize personalized service over corporate structures. Her commitment to financial freedom with integrity has been unwavering, allowing her not only to survive the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic but to thrive. At the core of Lib 8 Consult is a motto that guides every aspect of their work: “Financial freedom with integrity.” This philosophy is not just a mantra but a way of life, instilled in every member of the team. Jemmy’s dedication to liberation, combined with decades of experience, drives her mission to provide a unique and fulfilling financial experience for all.
